Observations of everyday life events is the main topic of my paintings. I am interested in the distinction between the ordinary, predictable daily affairs and the beauty and uniqueness of each and every moment. For me, it’s always important to get direct visual contact with the object of representation, and to receive my own impressions of it.
The objects I depict usually acquire new colors, scale and transform into independent compositions.
I use this general concept through every series of paintings, the themes of which may be divided into three main categories: household paintings, which are limited to home plots; paintings about sport, which reflect moments of physical activity; and paintings about journeys and exhibits of museum expositions. During lifetime, all these main themes are gradually supplemented with new subjects and compile the self-conducted archive of impressions.
